Dorinda Medley responds to Melissa Gorga’s account of a cookie delivery after the Real Housewives of New Jersey star suggested that Dorinda initially failed to thank her for a box of Sprinkle by MG cookies. The disagreement surfaced after Melissa discussed the incident at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, prompting Dorinda to clarify what happened.
Dorinda sets the record straight on Melissa’s claims
During a panel at Bravo Fan Fest, moderator Daryn Carp asked Melissa to name a celebrity who had not thanked her for receiving her sprinkle cookies. Melissa identified Dorinda, but said the Real Housewives of New York City alum eventually thanked her after receiving another box.
Melissa explained, “I love Dorinda. But she thanked me later because I sent her a new box. Maybe she didn’t get them.”
However, Dorinda Medley responds with a different version in a comment on the TikTok clip shared on October 27. She claimed she had contacted Melissa to correct the delivery address after the cookies were initially sent to the wrong place. “If you remember correctly you didn’t send them to me so I contacted you and you sent them to the right address and did a video,” Dorinda wrote.
The exchange comes years after Melissa’s infamous sprinkle-cookie feud with her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice. Teresa reportedly threw Melissa’s holiday cookies into the trash because she preferred pignolis, reigniting tensions between the two RHONJ stars.
Melissa later turned her passion for the treat into a business, launching Sprinkle by MG in December 2024. Announcing the brand on Instagram, she promoted its signature product as “The ultimate sprinkle butter cookie that’s as chic as it is delicious!”
She also referenced the family controversy, writing, “Trust me… you will NOT want to throw these in the garbage.” The business subsequently expanded its offerings with a sprinkle coffee cake. Within three months, the company reportedly generated $500,000 in revenue.
Melissa has also spoken about the positive response to her products. In an interview with Decider, she said customers had embraced both the cookies and the wider company. She further added that people frequently purchased them as gifts and included personal messages with their orders.
