Brandi Glanville Had People Worried Over Something That Never Happened

Brandi Glanville sparked concern after a recent social media post appeared to suggest that she had lost an entire ear during surgery. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star made the comment while sharing an emotional update with followers. However, sources have since clarified that Glanville’s ear was not removed during the procedure.

Sources reveal what actually occurred during surgery

Sources close to Glanville told TMZ that doctors entered through her ear to carry out the procedure. They said surgeons did not remove the ear, despite what some readers understood from her message. Glanville raised the concern Thursday in a post on X. “Maybe it’s my dad’s way of keeping my mind busy so I stop crying since I had one entire ear taken off:/,” she wrote.

The comment appeared to connect her surgery with the recent death of her father, Guy Glanville. He died earlier this month at age 77, and Brandi previously told followers that she felt “gutted” by the loss. Her post led some people to believe that doctors had removed her ear entirely. However, sources who spoke with TMZ clarified that the medical team used the ear as an entry point for the operation.

The procedure follows years of health problems involving material and organisms affecting Glanville’s face. It was previously reported that she planned to undergo facial surgery last week to clear out the affected area. According to the earlier report, doctors planned to clean the area during the operation. Sources also said Glanville would then begin 90 days of antifungal treatment through an IV.

The treatment plan does not end with the IV sessions, according to the earlier report. Sources told TMZ that Glanville also expects to undergo another operation to remove her breast implants. The latest clarification addresses the main concern raised by her post: Sources say doctors did not remove her ear. Instead, they reportedly used the ear as an entry point for the procedure.
