Heatworld reported that Harry believed Camilla was blocking another meeting with King Charles. The Duke of Sussex allegedly considered seeking forgiveness after his criticism of her in his 2023 memoir, “Spare.”
Meanwhile, the report said William distrusted any possible apology. The source said, “He won’t believe for a second that Harry is sincere in any sort of apology to Camilla.” The insider added that William would “see right through it.” The report also tied those tensions to Harry and Meghan Markle’s reconciliation push.
However, the same source said Kate Middleton could object if Queen Camilla received an apology first. The insider claimed it was “likely to sicken William” if Harry managed to sway Charles. Kate would also be upset, according to the report.
The source explained, “Even though she says she forgives them, there is still a lot of animosity.” Then, the insider added, “It will be very hard to swallow if they apologise to Camilla and not to her.” Genuine regret meant “they will apologise to all of them,” according to the source.
Finally, the insider framed a direct apology as Kate’s condition for reconciliation. The source said the Princess understood that Charles “wants peace” and had tried to remain open. Still, the insider claimed she saw no path forward without an apology to both Waleses.
The source said, “She doesn’t see how it can begin to happen until she and William get a proper apology.” The insider also rejected claims that such an apology had happened. “And, despite what some people have said, there has not been one,” the source added.
