Meghan Markle’s Father Faces New Twist in Disturbing Investigation

Meghan Markle, who is adjusting to life in the UK with her husband, Prince Harry, and their children, has seen several major developments in her life recently. One of the biggest headlines involved disturbing allegations surrounding her father, Thomas Markle. Now, another twist has emerged in the investigation involving her father.

Philippine police obtain warrant to examine Thomas Markle’s digital devices

The 82-year-old is under investigation for allegedly possessing child pornography, and Philippine police will examine his digital devices. The BBC reported Thursday that police in Cebu had obtained a search warrant to search items seized from his home.

Thomas’ son, Thomas Markle Jr., reportedly filed a complaint with authorities after discovering what he described as “hundreds, if not thousands” of child pornography images in several boxes.

His son said, “I had no option but to report my dad,” and vowed, not to speak to him “ever again.”

Markle Jr. also shared his findings with the FBI hotline, the state police in Pennsylvania, where his father had been living, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Meghan Markle’s father has strongly denied his son’s claims, calling them “sick lies,” while his daughter, Samantha Markle, has accused Jr. of plotting to get revenge. Meanwhile, Thomas Jr. fired back over the weekend, responding to his father’s “unbelievable” denial.

“I’m sure the huge piles of evidence I’ve taken to the police today will reveal the truth once the police experts examine it,” he said.

For context, the whole controversy first became public earlier this month. Meghan Markle issued an emotional and strongly worded statement after the news broke. She stated, “I am deeply distressed at the news that has come to light in the last 24 hours, and my thoughts are with any children who may have been harmed,” and confirmed that London police had informed her about the private letter back in 2018 and assured her that an investigation was underway.
