Kim Kardashian Recalls Dad’s Emotional Last Message Before Death — Report

Kim Kardashian has opened up about the emotional final conversation she shared with her father, Robert Kardashian Sr., before he died in 2003. In the newly released biography Citizen Kim, the reality star recalled how her father reassured her about her future and urged her to look after her siblings, including her younger brother, Rob Kardashian, as reported by Enews.

Kim remembered her father expressing confidence in her future during their final full conversation, offering reassurance that she would be successful even though he did not explain exactly what he envisioned for her. “The last thing my dad ever said to me was, ‘I know you’re going to be good—I can see it,’” Kim told Jonathan Van Meter, the author of Citizen Kim. “‘It’s as if I can see what your whole life is going to be like.’”

She recalled sitting beside him on an L-shaped couch while they watched a movie. During that quiet moment, Robert placed his hand on her leg and reassured her that everything would work out. “He put his hand on my leg,” Kim said. “I’ll never forget it. And I was laying next to him on the couch—this L-shaped couch—and we were kind of squished in this way, watching a movie. And he said, ‘You’ll be fine.’”

Kim recalled that he wanted her to look after her siblings, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian, particularly Rob, who was just 16 when their father died. Kim also recalled the last words she said to Robert after his condition deteriorated and he could no longer communicate verbally. “The last thing I said to him was, ‘Dad, thank you so much for everything that you’ve taught me, from how to be a good person, to how you did my homework with me, everything I’m going to do with my kids one day. And I’m going to take the lesson of you being in my life and carry that forward,’” she recalled.
