Kim Kardashian has opened up about the emotional challenges of raising four children with Kanye West, explaining that her concern for her ex-husband has continued since their divorce. In Jonathan Van Meter’s new biography, “Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future,” Kardashian discussed the difficulties of co-parenting while maintaining personal boundaries.

“Oh, I worry about [Kanye] all day,” Kardashian told author Jonathan Van Meter, according to Us Weekly. She explained that she would always worry about West because he is the father of their four children.
Kardashian described having children with someone she does not necessarily get along with as a “big burden.” She also revealed that her therapist had encouraged her to establish stronger boundaries.
Despite their differences, Kardashian said she tries to remain realistic about their relationship while finding ways to co-parent without constant conflict.
Her comments also reflect her earlier discussions about motherhood. Kardashian has previously emphasized that protecting her children remains one of her biggest priorities, particularly when issues involving West become public.
Kardashian has also spoken about the daily responsibilities of raising North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. More recently, she revealed that she employs five nannies while remaining closely involved in her children’s routines.
The reality star also discussed her relationship with West’s extended family. Kardashian told Van Meter that she is “really close” with his relatives and maintains an open-door policy for family visits.
She explained that they can visit for dinner, take the children out, or spend time together whenever they are in town. Kardashian emphasized the importance of maintaining those connections because “that’s their family.”
Although the former couple has managed to limit conflict, Kardashian admitted that she continues to worry about West’s future. She expressed hope that his circumstances would improve, particularly for their children’s sake.
Her revelations in “Citizen Kim” highlight the emotional challenges of co-parenting after divorce. For Kardashian, maintaining family relationships also means balancing her concern for West with the personal boundaries she needs to protect her own well-being.
