A source claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s recent outing in Nottingham didn’t sit well with Kate Middleton. They alleged that she was upset by the couple’s charity engagement, which closely resembled royal ones and received considerable attention.
The visit marked their first outing in the UK since their return and was particularly significant, as Nottingham was where they made their first public appearance together following their engagement announcement in 2017.
How Kate Middleton may communicate her concerns about the Sussexes
A source told RadarOnline that Middleton is “furious” over the Sussexes’ recent charity engagements, which she reportedly believes bear a striking resemblance to those of the royal family. They said that Middleton had tried her best to avoid Harry and Markle, considering her husband, William. However, she now no longer wishes to stay mum.
They continued, “She is said to be absolutely seething behind closed doors over Harry and Meghan’s latest appearances, and the scenes in Nottingham have brought years of frustration bubbling back to the surface.” The insider further explained how Middleton perceived the public engagement and what tends to bother her.
“From her perspective, there’s something deeply upsetting about watching the Sussexes return to Britain, receive all this attention, and carry on with engagements that look remarkably similar to the royal duties they chose to walk away from,” they added. They mentioned that Middleton tried her best to remain composed, as she knows how much the fallout had impacted William. But they said that her patience is running out now. The source claimed that Middleton is struggling with the idea that everybody should move on as if things didn’t happen in the past.
During their first public outing, Markle and Harry made three charity stops. They were as follows: Community Recording Studio, Himmah Food Bank, and Epic Partners.
