Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott have yet to settle on a wedding date, three years after the engagement announcement. The couple is still figuring out their special day.
During a recent interview with People, Deschanel gave an update on her wedding plans while discussing her campaign for Bath & Body Works’ Season of Wonder. When asked if she has thought of an ideal wedding season, the actress revealed, “I’m not really sure. It kind of depends.” The New Girl star added, “We don’t have really firm plans yet. It depends on a lot of different factors.”
Deschanel has also let fans in on her and Scott’s Christmas plans. “I actually don’t know what we’ve settled on yet,” she shared. “We have a team of people that help with the Christmas decor, and Jonathan’s really, really into it. But we usually have our own take on Christmas.”

Zooey Deschanel first crossed paths with Jonathan Scott in August 2019, while filming an episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series, and eventually began dating. The couple announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on August 15, 2023.
The carousel included photos of the pair with Deschanel showing off her stunning engagement ring, a custom Folie des Prés ring from Van Cleef & Arpels.
Deschanel’s latest Bath & Body Works campaign is a nod to her and her fiancé Scott’s mutual love for vintage and pastel holiday decor. The aesthetic is also reflected in the floral-themed ring that features pink and purple stones.
“These are my colors. I love them so much, ” Deschanel gushed about the ring to People. She also shared her plans to add pastels to her Christmas decor. Meanwhile, fans are excited to see Deschanel in Trash Mountain, an upcoming comedy film written by and starring Caleb Hearon.
