Andy Cohen learned how strongly Bravo fans still feel about Amanda Batula and West Wilson. His comments about their potential futures at the network earned an immediate chorus of boos during Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston. While discussing the former Summer House stars, Cohen suggested Amanda could still have a place on Bravo despite the backlash surrounding her relationship with West.
Bravo fans react to Summer House casting
An audience member asked Cohen whether Amanda and West could ever return to Summer House. Fans quickly started booing as he addressed the possibility, according to Us Weekly.
“You don’t need to boo me,” Cohen told the crowd before joking that they were “so nasty and so rude.”
He then revealed that he had recently heard from West. According to Cohen, West was with Amanda while she tried St. Louis-style pizza for the first time.
The crowd remained unimpressed. Still, Cohen continued and said, “I certainly could see [Amanda] being on In the City.”
That possibility comes after Bravo renewed In the City for Season 2 during Fan Fest. However, the network did not announce its cast. Reports also indicate that neither Amanda nor West has filmed for the new season so far.
Their Bravo futures have remained uncertain since their relationship became a storyline on Summer House. Amanda and West confirmed their romance in March, shortly after months of speculation.
The pairing drew attention because West had previously dated Ciara Miller, while Amanda had separated from Kyle Cooke. Cohen later pushed back on theories that he secretly knew about their relationship.
Both eventually departed Summer House. West addressed his departure publicly, while Amanda’s Season 11 exit followed days later.
Still, the door may not be completely closed. West has already been floated as a possible fit for In the City, while Amanda appeared in the spinoff’s first season.
Judging by the Fan Fest reaction, however, not every Bravoholic appears eager to see either star return to the network.
