Katie Zacharia has reaffirmed her support for President Donald Trump despite being dismissed from her White House press secretary role shortly after her appointment was announced. Responding to a news story describing her as “ruthlessly loyal” to the president, Zacharia offered a one-word reply that made her position clear: “Facts.”

Zacharia’s latest comment suggests that her opinion of Trump remains unchanged despite her brief and troubled stint in the White House. Previously, she publicly praised the president following the announcement of her departure.
“President Trump is a kind, wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and hardworking man. I wish more Americans appreciated him. No one will ever make America great the way he has and continues to,” she wrote on X. She also described working for him as an honor. (via The Mirror)
However, Zacharia’s time as press secretary was short-lived. Her first press briefing reportedly lasted just 14 minutes, during which she struggled to respond to questions. Soon afterward, her claims about her legal background also came under scrutiny.
Although her résumé listed experience as an attorney, questions emerged over whether she had passed the bar exam in any U.S. state, including California. Her claim of having worked as an attorney in China also faced scrutiny, as the source reports that only Chinese citizens are eligible to qualify as lawyers there.
In an effort to address the controversy, Zacharia appeared on Fox News for an interview with Trump ally Sean Hannity. However, Hannity questioned both her legal credentials and her performance during her first briefing. Her subsequent appearance on Fox & Friends the following morning did little to resolve the concerns.
Ultimately, Trump decided she should leave the position. Explaining his decision to reporters, he said he had asked Zacharia, “Is this for you, Katie? Because honestly, you don’t need this.” He added, “Honestly, if I were you, I’d reconsider.”
Despite the abrupt end to her White House role, Zacharia’s latest response indicates that she continues to stand by the president.
