After recently sharing the good news that she is cancer-free, the model has now posted an update on Instagram reflecting on her journey. In the post, she encouraged women to prioritize regular screenings and the early detection of breast cancer.
The former model wrote, “For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I sat down with my daughter and Dr. Nicole Saphier to share my journey with breast cancer. ?.”
“It was a long and challenging journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for the love and support of the people who surrounded me along the way. By sharing my story, I hope to encourage others to prioritize their health, schedule their screenings, and understand the importance of early detection,” she added.
Vanessa went on, “If sharing my experience encourages even one person to get checked, it’s worth it. ?.”
