Royal family appeared ‘animated and enthusiastic’ on engagement amid Prince Harry interview, per expert
The royal family reportedly appeared “animated and enthusiastic” during their engagement on day one of the Sultan of Oman’s state visit, amid all the drama revolving around the new Prince Harry GQ interview. As reported by The Daily Express, Judi James, a body language expert, analyzed the royal family’s new approach.
Per the news outlet, the expert told them, “The dull, misty and soggy weather did seem to take some of the sparkle off the ceremonial welcome, but the royals appeared able to compensate via their body language displays.” Judi James explained, “As Charles, Camilla and Kate stood waiting for their visitors they all three appeared to invest more effort in their chats with members of the armed forces.”
Furthermore, per the publication, the body language expert claimed that King Charles, Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton “used one-armed gesticulations that were animated and enthusiastic.” According to Judi James, “The impression was that of a certain re-energised approach to the art of the formal royal outing.”
In the meantime, the body language expert further told the news outlet that Kate Middleton displayed the perfect smile and curtsey while greeting the guests. Per Judi James, the Princess of Wales’ small interactions with the guests appeared to be “enthusiastic and utterly pleasant.” According to the expert, the royal family gave a “peak performance” as they moved “like clockwork” to showcase how an authentic event hosted by the royals should be.
