Prince Harry’s Reconciliation Hopes Lack One Thing — Report

A report claims that Prince Harry‘s hopes for reconciliation with the Royal Family are missing a key ingredient. The news comes after the Duke of Sussex addressed the topic in a recent GQ interview with Zach Baron. During his appearance on the “One More Question” series, Harry also reflected on the grief of losing his mother, Princess Diana, and his recent return to the UK.

Journalist Natalie Oliveri comments on Prince Harry’s reconciliation remarks in the latest interview

Prince Harry is facing criticism over his latest GQ interview, with one journalist suggesting that the Duke is “all talk” as his plea for reconciliation was missing a vital element.

According to journalist Natalie Oliveri, writing for Nine.com, while the non-working royal has stated his desire to mend ties with his family, he has taken no concrete steps to do so. She noted, “Prince Harry’s plea for peace and his hopes for a closer relationship with his family appears to have been done, this time, with a more reflective tone rather than the combative approach he’s taken in the past.”

Oliveri, however, pointed out, “But, dear Harry, repeatedly saying you want to reconcile while not acknowledging how you’ve contributed to the long-running rift, just comes across as all talk and no action. Prince Harry’s desire for reconciliation is lacking in one key thing that could make all the difference: remorse.”

As for the Royal Family’s stance regarding Prince Harry, royal correspondents have previously noted that King Charles has kept the door open for his younger son, but is wary of private conversations becoming public.

However, his older brother William has reportedly refused to make amends. The Prince of Wales has reportedly instructed his staff to enforce a ban on discussing Prince Harry and now behaves as if the Sussexes “don’t exist.”

In another apparent royal snub, a personal gift from Meghan Markle to Princess Eugenie has reportedly appeared for sale on eBay for $26,000. Reports identify the item as a first edition of the Duchess of Sussex’s 2021 children’s book, “The Bench.” She gifted the signed copy to Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank following the birth of their son August in 2021.
