Caprice Bourret has revealed why she left London and moved her family abroad. The former Ladies of London star says violent incidents close to her home made her fear for her family’s safety. Bourret claims two murders happened near her doorstep. Eventually, she and her husband Ty Comfort decided they no longer wanted to stay in the UK capital.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Bourret said she “had to get out of London” because she no longer felt safe. She claimed two murders occurred outside her home and described the incidents as happening “literally on my doorstep.”
One case particularly disturbed the couple. Bourret said one victim, named Tyrone but known as Ty, shared her husband’s first name. She recalled Comfort responding to the coincidence by deciding it was time for the family to leave.
However, Bourret suggested that no single incident prompted the move. “I don’t know if it was the cherry on the cake, but there were multiple things,” she said.
According to The Sun, Bourret and Comfort moved permanently to Ibiza with their sons, Jax and Jett, during the summer. The family previously lived in a six-bedroom Notting Hill mansion, which they put on the market for £12 million.
Interestingly, Bourret had previously spoken about unusual experiences inside the property. She claimed the house once had a ghost problem and even enlisted spiritual experts for help. Still, she made clear that her latest decision to leave London centered on real-life safety concerns rather than those experiences.
The former Ladies of London cast member now says life in Ibiza gives her family greater freedom. Bourret told the Daily Mail that she worries less about her sons there and feels more comfortable letting them travel around independently.
For Bourret, though, her latest chapter now sits outside the city closely associated with the reality show. After decades in London, she says concerns about what happened near her own home ultimately helped push her family toward a new life in Ibiza.
