Donald Trump posts AI video after posting fatal attack
Donald Trump recently posted on Truth Social yet another AI-generated video of himself, this time featuring a tiger.
In the video, the President points at the tiger, then chases it and tackles it to the ground. The tiger and Trump then appear to pose, smiling next to each other, suggesting the President has befriended the tiger. The song in the background is “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” by The Tokens.
Although he didn’t share anything along with the video in his post, it came after a man was killed in an attack by a tiger after he entered the animal’s enclosure in a British wildlife park. Since then, the video of the attack has been going viral on social media. The family of the victim, identified as William Chapman, urged people to stop sharing any content related to it. According to a report by The Sun, Chapman recorded the video himself while inside the enclosure.
In a statement, Chapman’s family pleaded with people not to share the video online and stated, “The family are utterly devastated by their loss and are struggling to come to terms with what has happened. The publication and circulation of deeply offensive media content is causing them severe distress at an exceptionally vulnerable time. We ask people to stop doing this.” (via the New York Post)
Before the statement was released, Trump also re-shared the video of the attack on Truth Social with the caption, “Don’t ever mess with nature!”
