Gypsy Rose Blanchard Invited to Ken Urker’s Funeral Despite Sister’s Disdain — Source

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has reportedly received an invitation to Ken Urker’s funeral in Texas. The invitation comes despite reported tension between Blanchard and Urker’s sister, Autumn Urker. However, that friction apparently does not extend to the rest of Urker’s family. Blanchard is reportedly open to attending the Texas service as his relatives finalize the arrangements.

According to TMZ, Urker’s family invited Gypsy Rose Blanchard to attend his funeral in Texas, his home state, once the family makes arrangements. The family has not yet announced when the service will take place.

The outlet reports that Blanchard maintains a good relationship with most of Urker’s relatives. His mother, Raina, reportedly likes Blanchard, and his parents reportedly do not blame her for anything. The exception appears to be his sister, Autumn, whose reported disdain for Blanchard has created tension.

Blanchard is considering attending the Texas funeral, according to the report. She also wants to hold a separate service in Louisiana for relatives who may not be able to travel.

The invitation follows a private viewing in Louisiana over the weekend. Blanchard joined several members of Urker’s family to say goodbye. Their daughter, Aurora, also attended.

Urker died on Oct. 1 after authorities found him unresponsive at a home in Raceland, Louisiana. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office said deputies found him dead when they arrived. Authorities have not announced a final cause of death.

Blanchard had sent Urker a birthday message before he was found. Their final communication became part of the early reporting surrounding Ken Urker’s death in Louisiana.

TMZ also reported that Blanchard and Urker had been spending time apart before his death. However, the outlet said they had not fully ended their relationship. The pair had reportedly discussed moving into a new home together.

Blanchard has also thanked supporters for their condolences as she navigates the loss.

For now, Blanchard’s invitation suggests she remains connected to much of Urker’s family despite the tension with Autumn. His relatives have not announced a date for the Texas funeral.
