Jimmy Kimmel recently ridiculed Donald Trump during his monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live! via Second Lady Usha Vance‘s diaper ad. Kimmel’s monologue also went on to criticize other aspects of Trump’s second term in the buildup to the upcoming midterm elections.
Jimmy Kimmel jokes about Donald Trump while using Usha Vance’s diaper ad
The ad, posted by Usha Vance on her Instagram, urges people to support the National Diaper Bank Network. However, in Kimmel’s version shown during the monologue, Trump appears to be compared to a newborn, while Usha Vance talks about diaper awareness. Although Usha Vance can be seen speaking about her newborn child in the original clip, the edited version features her saying, “Our fourth baby is just a few weeks old, and our President just turned 80 a few months ago. Both of these busy guys go through a lot of diapers. And when they have tantrums, it can be worse.”
Usha Vance’s altered statements further label Trump a “poopy President.” The edited version of the ad goes on to say that diaper banks will be helpful not only for the health of babies but also to assist Trump to “evacuate his bowels.”
It concludes with Usha Vance being edited to suggest that when people contribute to diaper banks, it will help the President keep himself dry all day. Notably, in Usha Vance’s original Instagram video, she does not mention the President.
Kimmel’s monologue continued by further criticizing Trump’s performance as president and discussing the wedding of the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr. The host reminded viewers of a story that he previously spoke about concerning the president’s son and the funding behind a part of his recent wedding celebrations. The White House recently distanced the president from the Russian “oligarch” at the center of the scandal, Umar Kremlev, via a statement.
