Charles Spencer’s new Princess Diana claims in bombshell memoir ‘wasn’t a shock’ to Prince Harry, per source
Prince Harry reportedly knew of Charles Spencer’s new Princess Diana claims in his upcoming memoir. Titled “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister,” the new book is set to be out next week. However, a gist of the content has been circulating since the author announced it. In the memoir, Spencer would likely slam King Charles.
According to Page Six, several sources claimed that Harry has been aware of the content of his uncle’s memoir. “Harry knew what was in the book – it didn’t come as a shock,” an insider revealed. It was reported that the 62-year-old discussed his upcoming work with Harry in July. They apparently discussed it when the duke visited his mother’s burial site with Meghan Markle and their children.
Reportedly, Spencer’s memoir would open up about Princess Diana and Charles’ troubled marriage. He has also allegedly claimed that the monarch made a mean remark after Diana’s death. It was said that Charles told Spencer, “Rest assured, we’ll forget Diana soon enough,” during a phone call.
Furthermore, Spencer announced his new book last month. “The aim of this book is to tell the truth about Diana from her brother’s perspective, just as I attempted to do when speaking at her funeral. As with my eulogy, I want to speak on Diana’s behalf and do so in an openly positive way,” he said at the event.
