Teens on E-Bikes Caught on Video Destroying Golf Course Without Facing Any Consequences

For some teenagers, riding an e-bike seems to give them the sense that they can do whatever they want and speed away without having to face any consequences. That’s what a group of teens in Florida having been doing for at least a week after damaging the greens of a golf course. Despite patrons and workers being frustrated with their antics and continued destruction of property, none of the teenagers have been caught by police and very little is stopping them from using the dirt bikes to tear through the greens in the future.

Police has received at least five calls concerning the dirt bike-riding teens

Video shows several teens riding e-bikes, or dirt e-bikes, all over the golf course at Hunter’s Run Golf Club in Cape Coral since at least late August 2026, as seen in a report by Gulf Coast News. It’s a public, 9-hole golf course that’s open every day of the week and covers about 30 acres near Nicholas Pkwy E and Santa Barbara Blvd.

Footage taken of the teenagers, with some of them wearing black ski masks to hide their identities, show them effectively treating the golf course like a bike park, riding through the greens and doing stunts. One of the riders is seen jumping into the air after accelerating over the hill of a rolling fairway, while another rider is seen popping a wheelie on the course.

One of the workers at the golf club, Joseph Zummo, told the outlet that he has tried to stop the teens from destroying the property but was brushed off. “I tried to talk to them,” he said. “They gave me the finger and stuff, no respect at all.”

Zummo shared that the teens had already disrupted a league tournament on the grounds. “There was an elite tournament here at 11 o’clock, in front of all these people,” he recalled, “and they’re just riding all over the tee boxes and the greens.”

The club’s owner said that the damaged greens had already been replaced once due to the destruction from the bikes.

One worker shares why he thinks the teenagers are wrecking the golf course

Another worker at the club, Zane Hayes, says that this issue has been going for weeks. He said, “Yeah, I came in one day at, like, 6 a.m., and I see them just driving down the cart path, and they just started tearing up all the greens and everything around the course.”

“It’s at least every week,” he continued. “I didn’t say anything at first. You know, I thought they would just leave right away, but then they started terrorizing everyone and doing donuts.”

Hayes shared on camera why he thought the teens were acting out like this. “They’re just trying to fit in,” he believes. “Do whatever the other kids are doing.”

He also attempted to confront the teens to tell them to get off the course, but he was given the bird: “I started going over there, and I tried to tell ’em, you know, to leave. And they started trying to argue with me and stuff.”

A member of the Hunter’s Run Golf Club, Al Camp, shared his frustration with the dirt bike-riding teens too. Camp said, “It really upsets me. I’m a member, I’m an officer in the golf course league, and I live on the course, so not good.”

The outlet reached out to the Cape Coral Police Department to uncover the extent of the problem. The police confirmed that they had received five calls to the property for “juvenile problems” between August 30 and September 8. The teenagers have yet to be caught or reprimanded by officers.

Some commenters on Facebook shared a few of their solutions to the situation. While some suggested that a bike park be installed nearby, one wrote, “Turn on those sprinklers everywhere.”

Another said that these teenage e-bike riders were the same ones that were allegedly playing “chicken” with traffic, suggesting that they could be causing problems beyond just the golf course.
