Taylor Swift’s NFL Video With Tom Cruise Annoys Fans for a Major Reason

Taylor Swift‘s interaction with Tom Cruise during an NFL game has reportedly sparked a major discussion among fans. The pop icon and the actor attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2026 season opener against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on September 14, 2026.

During the game, cameras captured Swift and Cruise talking to each other, prompting criticism from some viewers. Several fans reportedly felt that the broadcast should have focused on the action on the field rather than showing two stars engaged in conversation.

Taylor Swift’s NFL video with Tom Cruise sparks fan criticism

Taylor Swift‘s new video with Tom Cruise during an NFL game has reportedly sparked criticism among fans. The “Opalite” hitmaker recently attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2026 season opener against the Denver Broncos on September 14, 2026. The singer was at the stadium to support her husband, Travis Kelce.

This marked Swift’s first game appearance of the season since her wedding to the NFL star. The pop singer wore a red-and-cream polo dress from Guest in Residence, paired with her signature lipstick. She was also seen sipping on a drink as she enjoyed the game. However, what truly stole the spotlight was her appearance alongside Cruise in a suite.

The “Top Gun” actor, who attended Swift and Kelce’s wedding in July, was seen speaking with the singer in the suite. Their interaction sparked a debate among fans, many of whom said they wanted to watch the game rather than see the two stars talking. One user wrote, “I don’t need Tom Cruise to spoil the show by sitting next to Taylor.” Another commented that they didn’t want to see Swift scanned across their TV every time Kelce caught the ball.

The viewers’ main concern was that the cameras appeared to focus more on the stars than on the game itself. Some fans reportedly felt that the celebrity coverage distracted from the on-field action they had tuned in to watch.
