Bad Gyal reportedly has no interest in working with Taylor Swift. It was reported that the Spanish artist was asked in an interview whether there was anyone she would never collaborate with. According to the clip, she seemingly named the pop star after a short pause. However, her answer on another pop icon was very different.
Bad Gyal explains why she wouldn’t collaborate with Taylor Swift, even for millions
According to Complex, Bad Gyal appeared on Argentine streaming channel BLENDER, where influencer Marta Fort asked whether she had ever had a bad experience with an artist. The singer reportedly said she hasn’t had any specific bad experiences, but she named Taylor Swift as someone she also doesn’t think would be interested in her.
She then reportedly imagined a surreal, “Alice in Wonderland” world in which someone offered her three million euros or dollars to collaborate with Swift. Even then, she claimed, “I wouldn’t do it.” Bad Gyal seemingly explained that she doesn’t “identify” with Swift’s ideas or what her music represents.
Furthermore, the artist allegedly pointed to memes about Swift’s music. She compared it to “a rotten hard-boiled egg” and a dry chicken with no salt or oil. “Just bland,” she added.
However, Bad Gyal reportedly said she has no intention to “start beef” with Swift. She claimed that she could run her mouth a lot more but would rather not make it personal.
Meanwhile, Fort suggested that Bad Gyal could work with Madonna. “I’d love to work with Madonna,” she replied. She also reportedly said that she is interested in collaborating with Argentine pop stars Tini and Lali. She called Tini, whom she knows, “a sweetheart.” Although she doesn’t know Lali personally, she said she really likes her from what she has seen.
Bad Gyal is currently on a world tour in support of her album “Más Cara.”
