Taylor Frankie Paul Has a Message for ‘Mormon Wives’ Costars Coming After Her

Taylor Frankie Paul appeared ready to stop playing defense as fresh Mormon Wivesdrama spilled onto social media. The reality star suggested her costars had continued posting pointed videos while she stayed mostly offline.

The comments arrived days after Hulu premiered the fifth season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Taylor also addressed why she remained committed to the show despite the tension surrounding her.

Taylor shared a cryptic Instagram Story on September 13. She did not name anyone, though fans speculated about videos from Mikayla Matthews and Mayci Neeley. “Stayed off my phone most of the day then got on just to see more videos directed to me,” Taylor wrote. She added that the group was “STILL going” while suggesting any response could make her look wrong.

Taylor said she continued the series because she wanted to share her story. “I have a bigger purpose I’m aiming towards and need to focus on that only,” she wrote. She also defended herself against the image she believed some castmates had created. “I have a good heart at [my] core,” Taylor wrote. She said she needed to remember she was not “this evil person they want me to be.”

The season returned September 10 after production paused amid legal issues involving Taylor and ex Dakota Mortensen. Taylor later admitted sleeping with Dakota after getting engaged during her unaired Bachelorette season.

Taylor also addressed viewers expecting a redemption arc. “Sorry to those that thought they were going to see my redemption arc,” she wrote. “That has slowly just begun.” She claimed she had remained single and celibate throughout that period. Taylor said nobody would have intimate access to her again unless he became her person.

Her Bachelorette season was canceled before its planned premiere. ABC pulled the season after footage emerged from a 2023 domestic dispute involving Taylor and Dakota. Season five also showed Taylor’s complicated feelings toward Dakota and musician Ben Lambert. She had briefly gotten engaged to Doug Mason before ending that relationship.

Taylor explained that Dakota came over after they had been texting. Their complicated history remained central to the season. With more episodes fueling cast tensions, Taylor’s future remained uncertain. Yet her latest message suggested she planned to keep telling her story.
