This week’s Hulu releases include Kevin Hart‘s Fast & Furious movie and more exciting new additions to stream.
Landing on September 14, the 2019 action hit Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw centers on Luke Hobbs, played by Dwayne Johnson, and Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw. The unlikely duo must unite to stop a bio-engineered terrorist plotting to unleash a catastrophic virus.
Idris Elba joins as the formidable villain Brixton Lore, alongside Vanessa Kirby as Hattie Shaw. The cast also includes Helen Mirren as Queenie Shaw, Eiza González as Madame M, and Cliff Curtis as Jonah Hobbs. Kevin Hart makes a cameo as Air Marshal Dinkley.
Arriving the next day, September 15, is the Hulu Original The Devil You Know: Killer in the Family: Complete Season 1. The 2019 true-crime docuseries delves into the disturbing case of self-proclaimed Satanist Pazuzu Algarad in North Carolina. The story is told through the perspective of investigative journalist Chad Nance. It traces the dark unraveling of Algarad’s household, from the discovery of human remains to questions of systemic failure and the legal battle that followed.
Another must-watch release on Hulu this week is 100 Nights of Hero (2025), dropping on September 18. Isabel Greenberg’s graphic novel inspires this queer feminist fantasy, which unfolds in a patriarchal alternate world.
It follows Cherry (Maika Monroe), whose neglectful husband Jerome (Amir El-Masry) leaves her for 100 days. He does so after wagering that his charming friend Manfred (Nicholas Galitzine) won’t be able to seduce her. To fend off Manfred, Hero (Emma Corrin), Cherry’s loyal maid and secret love, draws inspiration from One Thousand and One Nights. She weaves enchanting stories of defiant women to keep him at bay and safeguard Cherry.
