Uma Thurman‘s gripping serial-killer series makes a comeback among this week’s highly anticipated new Paramount+ releases.
Setting the mood for Halloween on Paramount+ this week is Dexter: Resurrection Season 2. Premiering on October 30, the latest season sees Dexter Morgan caught between two deadly serial killers. As he faces this new threat, he must also navigate a mid-life crisis and the lingering consequences of his past actions.
The Paramount+ lineup for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 brings back familiar faces, including Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, Jack Alcott as Harrison Morgan, Uma Thurman as Charley, and James Remar as Harry Morgan. Joining them are powerful new additions to the ensemble, with Brian Cox, Dan Stevens, and Gabriel Luna among the standout newcomers.
Another highlight on Paramount+ this week is the Season 42 finale of the hit original series The Challenge. Dropping on October 28, the showdown kicks off in Thailand’s scorching heat, as Team Gray and Team Orange battle it out in a grueling multi-day finale.
For documentary lovers, Hanging By A Wire releases on Paramount+ this week, on the same date. The 2026 documentary directed by Mohammed Ali Naqvi revisits the harrowing cable car rescue that took place on August 22, 2023, in Battagram, Pakistan. A routine morning commute turned into a nightmare for eight passengers, including six schoolboys. Two cables snapped mid-valley, leaving their makeshift cable car dangling 900 feet in the air on a single frayed wire.
