President Donald Trump‘s White House has launched new arcade games on its website tied to his agenda. The games resemble iconic titles like Snake, Duck Hunt, Flappy Bird, and more. However, the response has been negative, with people accusing Trump of using the games to promote his border politics.
The official White House arcade includes ‘Build the Wall’ and ‘Rio Run’ alongside three other policy-themed games
The Donald Trump administration recently rolled out a series of arcade games on the official White House website related to his various policies.
The games on the website are versions of some old favorites, given a Trump makeover. They are named “Build the Wall”, “Flappy Bill”, “Rio Run”, “Trump Savings Tycoon”, and “Supply Line”. The article also stated that more games would arrive soon. Build the Wall mimics the iconic Tetris game, while Rio Run resembles the Snake game. In Rio Run, Trump can be seen gathering a group of people who are seemingly border crossers.
On their Instagram page, the White House announced the games with a video that started with the MAGA (Make America Great Again) slogan. The video resembled the style of the popular video game company SEGA. It then gave people a glimpse of the gameplay. In the caption, they mentioned, “CAN’T STOP WINNING. Build the wall. Deport. Fill a Trump Account. LIVE – PLAY NOW.”
According to Newsweek, a White House official spoke of the games. They said these are the administration’s attempt to spread more information about Trump’s achievements and policies. They added that the games are an attempt to resonate with people and win over Democrats.
The official stated, “The President continues to rack up victory after victory on behalf of the American public, while opponents of his agenda are defending their record of raising taxes and empowering criminal illegal aliens.”
