Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are reportedly in continuous contact, fueling speculation of their reunion. According to Globe Magazine, Lopez is reconnecting with her ex-husband amid her busy schedule. The ex-couple has allegedly been maintaining contact despite their divorce.
A source said the ex-couple “spend a lot more time together these days than anyone realizes,” adding that they are having phone conversations “at all hours.”
“They seem to be back to their same old dynamic where she’s going to him for advice on everything. People are worried she’s going to have another breakdown,” the source added, as they are concerned about her reaching out to Affleck despite her packed schedule.
People around her are reportedly worried she might burn out after she previously faced health concerns because of excessive work. The singer previously revealed that working on “Enough” in 2002 led to a health scare. She recalled working for 98 days without a break, which led to her experiencing symptoms that left her unable to move or see.
However, it’s reportedly not only Lopez who is reaching out, but Affleck is also reportedly seeking comfort in her. According to The Blast, the singer was supporting him when his mother died in July. The gesture “meant so much to him. He let down his guard, and he’s been leaning on her,” an insider said. The former couple reportedly might reconcile.
Affleck and Lopez broke up in 2004 before reconciling in 2021 and getting married in 2022. Two years after their marriage, Lopez filed for divorce in 2024, which was finalized in 2025. The former couple reportedly remain in contact for their professional commitments despite ending their marriage last year.
