Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen reunite the Season 8 Islanders for confrontations, apologies and updates
Peacock released the reunion trailer on Wednesday, Aug. 26. It was filmed at Universal Studios Hollywood, in front of a live audience. Winners Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff will join second-place couple Aniya Harvey and Carl Lee Schmidt. Ariana also checks in with Aniya about her relationship with Carl.
Aniya says things have been great with Carl. However, the trailer reveals that some Islanders did not leave Fiji on good terms. Kenzie Annis does her signature splits in a short red dress before Melanie Moreno rolls her eyes. Jen Terry then exclaims, “So messy!”
KC Chandler and Tierra “Titi” Davis also face criticism from other Islanders. Aniya appears to regret some of her past actions and says, “I need to go and apologize.” Season 8 brought romance, games and plenty of drama after the cast arrived in Fiji. Peacock says the season has drawn more than 19 billion viewing minutes since its June 2 premiere.
The reunion will also give fans updates on couples formed during the season. Peacock says the special will revisit major Villa moments, relationship updates and controversies. Trinity recently denied a claim that she was escorted out of the reunion following an alleged altercation. She told fans, “I did not get escorted out. Also we never had an altercation.”
Fans can watch the Love Island USA Season 8 reunion on Peacock Monday, Aug. 31, at 9 p.m. ET. Ariana and Andy will lead the Islanders through the reunion as the special looks at what happened after the cast left Fiji. Peacock has also renewed the series for Season 9, with new episodes expected in summer 2027.
