Donald Trump’s New AI Photo Sparks Jeffrey Epstein Confusion

The Department of Education published an AI photo that sent social media into a frenzy after users spotted a character resembling Jeffrey Epstein. The post, created with Grok Imagine, shows President Donald Trump driving a Mario Kart-style vehicle alongside Secretary of Education Linda McMahon and a third man whom some viewers mistook for the late sex offender.

Department of Education’s AI post has everyone talking about Jeffrey Epstein

“Freedom REVS,” the caption read. “Stay tuned for the Freedom 250 Grand Prix THIS WEEKEND!” A Department of Education spokesperson confirmed to the Daily Beast that the third person is Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. However, the clarification failed to stop the wave of online commentary.

The image quickly drew jokes and confusion online, with some users insisting that the third figure looked like Epstein. The House Oversight Democrats account also posted, “Jesus Christ, that’s Jeffrey Epstein,” referencing a popular meme. Other users joked about Epstein’s apparent inclusion in the image, while some viewers mistook McMahon’s AI depiction for Hillary Clinton. The pink vehicle was labeled “ED,” referring to the Department of Education.

The backlash comes amid continued public scrutiny of Trump’s handling of Jeffrey Epstein-related files. The president has repeatedly deflected public criticism over his Justice Department’s redactions, classifying the issue as a “Democratic hoax” and urging the public to “move on.” Former Attorney General Pam Bondi initially claimed a client list was under review, but the FBI and DOJ later dismissed the existence of such a document.

Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to prostitution-related charges and died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. Trump has maintained he had no knowledge of Epstein’s criminal conduct despite their personal friendship throughout the 1990s and later years. As of now, Trump hasn’t publicly commented on the same issue.
