Rosie O’Donnell, the Queen of Nice, needed only a few seconds to turn the spotlight on Donald Trump and his close aide Natalie Harp. During her latest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the comedian delivered a bedtime joke about the president that quickly became the highlight of her opening monologue.

O’Donnell, who is filling in as guest host this week, started by greeting viewers watching from the White House. She then addressed Trump directly, calling him “President Petty Roosevelt” before promising not to spend the rest of the night talking about him.
But she still had one more joke to make.
“You gotta realize it’s time to hang up your wig and let Natalie tuck you in. Time to go nighty-night!” O’Donnell joked.
O’Donnell’s remark came as Harp has faced increased attention over her close relationship with Trump. The 35-year-old executive assistant frequently accompanies him to Mar-a-Lago and has reportedly been involved in his social media activity.
Harp also drew attention after reports said she was among the people who switched planes with Trump amid concerns about a possible assassination threat.
Her brother, Preston Harp, has also spoken publicly about his sister’s strong devotion to Trump. He previously described what he believes is an “unhealthy obsession” and linked her views to the way their mother raised them.
O’Donnell has targeted Trump with several jokes during her guest-hosting stint. The night before, she called him “President Oompa J. Loompa” and joked that he had helped make her “re-famous.”
Still, Wednesday’s remark about Harp stood out as O’Donnell’s latest jab at Trump and the people closest to him.
After the quick political dig, O’Donnell moved on to other topics, including her dislike of Waymos and Guillermo’s upcoming appearance on Dancing With the Stars.
