The disappointment seemingly came when she did not receive a birthday message from the monarch. Prince Harry and Markle visited the UK in July. Their trip also included a meeting between the Sussexes and Charles, which was seen as a possible step toward reconciliation.
Heat World reports that Markle had reportedly been hesitant about returning to the UK. Hence, her decision to accompany Harry on the trip surprised many. Earlier, there had been widespread speculation that she could release her own memoir. That could reveal details about her relationship with the royal family, including allegations of racism and bullying.
Hence, making her return to UK soil was no “easy feat,” according to the source.
The source added, “Meghan genuinely wants to get along with Harry’s family, and she feels like she’s gone above and beyond to make that happen. It’s not just about the effort she put in during their time in England; she’s spent a long time biting her tongue and letting go of a lot of resentment.”
