The property developer kept the post focused on his wife and family while using a social media habit familiar to followers of Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi marked Princess Beatrice’s birthday on Aug. 8 with four photos of the couple and a brief message on Instagram. “Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife,” Mozzi wrote. He later added, “You make our world.” He closed the royal birthday tribute with “Love E,W,S,A,” followed by kisses and heart emojis.
The initials quietly brought their family into the message. “E” stands for Edo, while “W” refers to Christopher Woolf, known as Wolfie, his 10-year-old son from a previous relationship. “S” represents Sienna, 3, and “A” represents Athena, 1, the two daughters Mozzi shares with Beatrice.
Beatrice became Wolfie’s stepmother when she married Mozzi in 2020. The post therefore referenced the couple’s three children without putting any of them at the center of the photo carousel.
That sign-off closely resembles a practice used by Kate Middleton and Prince William. The Prince and Princess of Wales regularly add their initials to social media posts to signal that a message came directly from them rather than from their communications team. They have also included the initials of their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, in family posts.
For William’s 44th birthday in June, the family ended a birthday and Father’s Day message with “C, G, C & L,” representing Catherine, George, Charlotte, and Louis.
Mozzi’s family-centered post also arrived days after he opened up about his home life. In a Gentleman’s Journal Q&A, he described disconnecting from work and spending time with his family as his ideal vacation. He also called travel and family time his biggest luxury.
