An insider told New Idea that the sisters have always been considered a package deal within royal circles. The princesses, who have different personalities, are now reportedly eager to establish their own paths.
“The York sisters have always been treated as a single unit for royal purposes,” the source explained.
The issue reportedly became more significant after both became mothers and started raising their own families.
“Since becoming mums and having their own families, it just doesn’t sit right, and it’s incredibly inconvenient with young kids,” the source said. “They’re both actually very different people – Beatrice loves tech while Eugenie’s the artist – but they’re still treated as a ‘BeaGenie’ package deal.”
