According to a Heat World report, Prince Harry has urged Markle to “swallow her pride” following their reunion with King Charles. It’s learned that the private family gathering has been a humbling experience for the Duke of Sussex. However, he doesn’t want their tough attitudes to ruin the opportunity for possibly a second invite or a chance at reconciliation.
The insiders said, “Clearly they’ve been pretty humbled by everything that’s happened. As much as they don’t want to accept it, their only choice is to abide by the King’s terms if they want any hope of rebuilding the relationship.”
They further revealed that Harry tried to convince Meghan to take some steps back if they wanted to regain the royal family’s trust. He is reportedly making her understand that they need to stop playing “hardball”; otherwise, they might lose the opportunity, which they certainly cannot afford to.
