Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s $30M Wedding Bill Broken Down — Report

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce finally tied the knot last week. The couple, who announced their engagement last year, got married at Madison Square Garden. Details of the ceremony were mostly kept private. However, The Knot Worldwide’s editorial director has recently broken down the cost of the wedding.

Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s reported lavish celebration

The Knot Worldwide’s editorial director, Esther Lee, talked about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding with Page Six. Lee estimated the cost to be $30 million or more, with roughly $5 million spent on flowers and decoration. “While the average American wedding sits at $34,000, according to The Knot Real Weddings Study, this production would’ve operated on a completely different scale,” she said. Lee explained that securing the venue, from days for load-in and load-out to transforming the place, would have required between $5 million and $10 million.

“We estimate the decor and florals to be, at minimum, $5 million,” she stated. “Not to forget that custom draping and carpet installation had to transform the space entirely.” Lee also estimated the cost of catering, service, and guest logistics for around 1,100 guests to be between $2.5 million and $3 million. On the other hand, bridal attire, menswear, and entertainment might have included $2 million.

The wedding reportedly had customized guest gifts, including candle sets inspired by the bride and groom’s favorite scents. Moreover, personalized “T&T” branding, games, and prizes might have been added to the bill. “We estimate the total cost sits in the $20 million to $30+ million range, cementing it as a massive economic engine for the local NY economy and broader wedding industry at large,” Lee explained.

She felt that planning a ceremony at this scale would have needed months of coordination and multiple high-level planning sessions. Lee shared the pair “might’ve had four to six major ‘milestone’ consultations.” This “included master presentations where they reviewed the blueprint, tasted catering options and approved the custom Dior sketches, not to mention fittings.”

Additionally, privacy and logistics might have been the top priority. Lee also talked about the designers, sharing, “Top designers do not just pick a generic theme. Instead, they start with spatial design and figure out how to make a cavernous space feel intimate.”
