The tour was expected to have a reunion between Harry and his father, King Charles. According to a source, the Duke of Sussex is planning to bring his family to Britain for a day.

According to the Daily Mail, Prince Harry wants Meghan Markle and the kids to visit the UK for 24 hours. The Duke of Sussex was reportedly denied a review of their 24/7 taxpayer-funded protection. However, he is eager to bring his family to the UK because he wants “to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK. However, Harry won’t do it without “proportionate protective security.”
One option to consider is flying the Duchess of Sussex and the kids in and out of the UK within a day from mainland Europe. They are reportedly staying at their new £6.3 million villa in Portugal. Harry is allegedly disappointed that his request for a review of “police protection” was denied “at the 11th hour.” He reportedly also blames the King’s aides, “the men in grey suits” who sit on Ravec, Britain’s VIP security committee. Harry is apparently told there is still “hope” of meeting his father. The King is expected not to deny the opportunity, as this will give him a chance to spend time with his grandchildren.
An insider closer to Harry blamed “those around the King” who sit on Ravec. A second source stated, “Their plans to see family… and visit charitable causes close to the Duke’s heart have been pulled out from under their feet at the 11th hour.” They continued, “He’s looking at every option to get the family here safely.” Moreover, Harry is allegedly “desperate” for his son, Prince Archie, and his daughter, Princess Lilibet, to meet their grandfather. While reports are endless, the Sussexes are yet to give clarity on the trip.
