The outlet reported the move seemingly referenced her being open to marriage again. Meanwhile, the TikTok clip from a user showed her smiling in a pink fringed dress as dancers surrounded her onstage.
The moment quickly moved through fan pages because the 2019 song had always carried personal history. It referenced Grande’s former relationships with Pete Davidson, Big Sean, and the late Mac Miller. However, this new stage bit came after her own marriage ended.
One fan reacted, “the way she avoided ‘only wanna do this once’ PLEASE I LOVE HER.” Another added, “the lyric change and the side eye from ‘only wanna do this once’.” The TikTok post had over 247k likes.
