The Duchess recently shared a series of images on her Instagram handle to mark her and Prince Harry’s eighth wedding anniversary. The photos included several moments from their wedding celebrations. However, one intimate image was described as “ghastly” by royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams.
Royal expert believes Meghan Markle should have redacted Prince Harry’s photo
One of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding photos reportedly received a negative remark from royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams. The public relations consultant and commentator shared his opinion on X (formerly Twitter). He reacted to a black-and-white image of Markle kissing Harry that was posted as part of their eighth wedding anniversary tribute.
Fitzwilliams suggested that the Duchess should have “redacted” the image from the post. His reaction was particularly strong. The expert described it as a “ghastly” photo and added that they “looked like a couple of drunks.”
He wrote, “Meghan has released it & others to commemorate their 8th wedding anniversary. They look like a couple of drunks & this should have been redacted. Perhaps it’s a metaphor for what she has done to his relations with his family!”
An hour later, he shared another image from Markle’s Instagram post, which showed the couple enjoying a dance. In that post, he wrote, “Looking back at the Sussexes Wedding 8 years ago I remember a superb ceremony and universal approval from an admiring press. Who would have thought that Harry would never have met her father & that they would not only have stepped down from royal life but brutally attacked the RF.”
