Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel recently addressed President Donald Trump’s hospitalization rumors over the weekend during his monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The host spoke about the rumors, the White House’s response to the claims, and Trump’s return to the press with a lengthy press conference. In it, he also addressed former President Joe Biden.

Jimmy Kimmel, a vocal critic of the current Trump administration, spoke out about the rumors regarding Donald Trump’s hospitalization over the weekend.
On Saturday, rumors emerged about the President being hospitalized at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after a medical emergency. Since then, it has been clarified that Trump was not hospitalized. The rumors emerged when the President did not speak to the press for a few days.
“You know, there’s a rumor going around over the weekend that Trump had been hospitalized at Walter Reed because he didn’t appear in public from Wednesday to Sunday,” Jimmy Kimmel began in his monologue.
“The White House was aggressively defensive. They wrote, ‘Deranged liberals cook up insane conspiracy theories when pus goes 12 hours without speaking to press,'” Kimmel continued, “Which maybe that’s because our deranged president never goes more than 12 minutes without speaking to press.”
The host added, “But uh, to be clear, Trump was not hospitalized this weekend, even though he definitely should have been. He made it up. He made up for today with a lengthy press conference/proof of life.”
Kimmel also mocked Donald Trump for bashing former President Joe Biden in a long speech. He proceeded to show a clip of Trump saying that North Korea’s Supreme Leader, Kim Jong Un, gets along very well with Trump, but allegedly called Biden a “mentally retarded person.”
The Trump administration continues to be divisive across the country.
