Trump was seen sporting a big red rash on his neck alongside his familiar hand bruise, prompting questions about his well-being.

During a Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House on March 2, photographers captured a large red rash and what appeared to be scabs on the right side of Donald Trump’s neck. The irritation extended from behind his ear to his hairline, a new dermatological development for Trump.
The sudden appearance of Trump’s rash sparked immediate speculation. But the White House was quick to address the issue. In a statement released to People, White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella provided context for the skin condition. “President Trump is using a very common cream on the right side of his neck, which is a preventative skin treatment, prescribed by the White House Doctor,” Barbabella explained.
He added that the treatment regimen is temporary. Barbabella noted, “The president is using this treatment for one week, and the redness is expected to last for a few weeks.” The doctor did not specify the underlying reason for the prescription. While the rash was the new focus, the lingering bruise on Trump’s right hand also appeared at the event. However, it appeared less prominent than usual, as it was partially concealed under a layer of makeup.
This persistent bruising has been a topic of discussion for a while now. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt initially attributed the marks to the president’s demanding schedule. He said, “President Trump has bruises on his hand because he’s constantly working and shaking hands all day, every day.” She further added, “President Trump is a man of the people. His commitment is unwavering, and he proves that every single day.”
