As per reports, the Burbak Police Department arrested Brittany Curran for public intoxication on Friday, February 13. The 35-year-old is best known for playing Taylor Kinney’s character’s half-sister on Chicago Fire. She is also known for her role in Jennifer Garner’s 13 Going On 30.
Brittany Curran arrested by Burbank Police, report claims
As per PEOPLE, Brittany Curran was reportedly arrested for public intoxication by Burbank Police in California. According to the arrest log, the police arrested Curran for allegedly being “drunk in public”. They also charged her with poor conduct in public. TMZ states that the Burbank Police Department revealed Curran appeared at the police station showing “objective signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication.”
According to the police, the actress was so intoxicated that she struggled to answer basic questions and appear civilized. The police department stated that Curran couldn’t “answer basic questions, could not account for how she arrived at the location, and appeared unable to care for her own safety.” However, the 35-year-old actress was not held on bail and was released the same day.
On Monday, February 16, Curran casually posted on her Instagram Stories, making no reference to her recent arrest. The incident comes at a time when the Chicago Fire alum seems to be moving forward in her career. Curran is all set to appear in a new romance movie, The Heart Brake. She will star alongside Joey Lawrence and Beverly D’Angelo, which is currently under post-production.
She even shared a screenshot from an article by Deadline and penned a lengthy caption to express her gratitude on Instagram. Curran wrote, “Over the moon. Beneath the stars. Cannot wait to Buffalo Bill myself into Julia Winters and bring this wonderful character to life this summer in Tennessee with this fantastic group of people.”
Continuing further, she wrote, “Gratitude is just pouring out of me right now, and Brian, this is all you. Your fierce work behind the scenes, your heart, your wit, your belief in me — I just appreciate and love ya so much.”
