Mark Ruffalo Says He Committed This Crime For 13 Years

Mark Ruffalo confessed to the crime he committed for 13 years. In a recent interview with IGN, the 58-year-old actor revealed that he “drove illegally in LA” for 13 years. He even confessed he once had a warrant out for his arrest during his 13-year-long offense. Ironically, Ruffalo is promoting his upcoming film titled Crime 101, co-starring alongside his Avengers co-star Chris Hemsworth and Barry Keoghan.

Mark Ruffalo drove ‘illegally’ for 13 years

Mark Ruffalo admitted that he drove illegally for 13 years in an interview with IGN. Ruffalo playfully quipped, “Will there be any cops watching, do you think? You promised there won’t be?” Continuing further, the 58-year-old actor said, “I drove illegally in LA for like 13 years on a suspended driver’s license with a bench warrant out for my arrest.”

A shocked Halle Berry exclaimed, “What?” and the interviewer couldn’t hide his surprise, remarking, “Really?” Ruffalo smiled and replied, “Yeah. But you wanna know something? I became the best driver in LA. I never broke a law because I was too afraid I would get busted.”

Continuing in the same vein, the 58-year-old dished, “The only reason that I dug myself out of that hole is when I met my wife. She found out that I had a bench warrant and my license was suspended, and she broke up with me. And I was like, ‘I’ll fix it. No No No No, you can’t break up with me because of that.’ She’s like, ‘No, I need to be with someone who is serious about life. And you are not even taking care of the fundamentals.’

“So, I went in front of the judge, I was like I’m an actor, I’m really depressed. And he’s like gave me pennies on the dollar and I paid all of it back, you know? But I got myself out of trouble,” he added. Meanwhile, Berry said, “Got yourself together and kept your wife.” To which Ruffalo repeated proudly, “And I kept my wife.”
