Tom Hiddleston, the star of the BBC One and Prime Video series The Night Manager, has shared a major update on the release date of Season 3. The show originally premiered in the UK on February 21, 2016, before becoming available on AMC a couple of months later. It returned with its sophomore season on January 1, 2026, in the UK, followed by the season’s US debut on Prime Video on January 11. The Season 2 finale aired on February 1.
Tom Hiddleston shares exciting details about The Night Manager Season 3
Hiddleston confirmed that The Night Manager Season 3 is indeed happening during an interview with This Morning in late January 2026. He said that he could “reveal” that there would be a third season. Hiddleston added. “We always constructed this one at the beginning of a twelve-episode story. It gave us greater scope, in terms of imagining where the story might go, knowing that we had another season to come.”
The Loki actor even proceeded to assure that the third chapter wouldn’t come out 10 years later, humorously noting that he would be 55 in a decade.
This came after Hiddleston told TV Insider earlier in the month that the team was developing the next season of The Night Manager. “We’re working on it. Yeah, we’re working on it now,” the Golden Globe winner said. “It’s not in official pre-production, but it’s in official development… We’re working on it, we’re refining the story and the architecture of what we really like.”
