Jason Statham‘s 2025 action movie has found significant success on streaming. A Working Man, which hit theaters in March last year and dropped on Prime Video soon after, has secured a top position in streaming analytics charts, underscoring its strong momentum. Notably, the film, based on Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel, Levon’s Trade, garnered mixed critical reception at the time of its release.
A Working Man finds streaming success on Prime Video
A Working Man, Jason Statham’s latest action movie, has become the #3 movie on FlixPatrol with 172 popularity points as of January 12, 2026. Thus, it is outranked by Trap House (#1, popularity points – 418) and The Tank (#2, popularity points – 399). However, it outranks the following films:
- Black Site (#4, popularity points – 129)
- It Ends With Us (#5, popularity points – 117)
- The Accountant (#6, popularity points – 81)
- Ballerina (#7, popularity points – 75)
- Wrath of Man (#8, popularity points – 67)

Following its theatrical release in March 2025, A Working Man reportedly grossed $98 million at the global box office against a modest production budget of $40 million.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a rotten score of 47% but boasts a robust audience score of 87%. Meanwhile, on Metacritic, the film has a Metascore of 52 and a user score of 5.9, both of which denote “mixed or average” reception.
A Working Man follows Levon Cade (Statham), a former Royal Marine Commando who traded the harsh, high-stakes landscape of the battlefield for a simple life as a construction foreman in Chicago. Cade’s peaceful life quickly becomes turbulent after his employer and friend, Joe Garcia’s daughter, Jenny, is kidnapped by human traffickers. Cade soon goes on a long quest to hunt down the kidnappers and rescue Jenny, reviving the skills he had cast aside in the process.
David Ayer directed A Working Man from a screenplay he co-wrote with Sylvester Stallone. In addition, both of them co-produced the film with Statham, Chris Long, John Friedberg, Bill Block, and Kevin King Templeton.
Besides Statham, the film also stars Jason Flemyng, Michael Peña, David Harbour, Arianna Rivas, Isla Gie, and Noemi Gonzalez, among others.
