Jeremy Renner recently took to social media to share a video of his winter adventure, in which he can be seen riding a snowmobile. The Hawkeye star, whose birthday falls on January 7, also thanked fans for their wishes in the caption. The latest video comes over three years after his severe snowplow accident on New Year’s Day.
Jeremy Renner thanks fans for birthday wishes in new video
Renner took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a video of himself enjoying a snowmobile ride across a snow-covered mountain near Lake Tahoe, California. He wrote in the caption, “Thank you for the birthday wishes! Woke at 5:55 am turning 55 … a beautiful day spent…. And finished with deep cleaning my carpets ( which I love to do ).”
Over three years ago, Renner experienced a tragic snowplow accident in Tahoe that could have cost him his life. On New Year’s Day 2023, Renner was attempting to rescue his nephew after his snowplow began sliding. While he managed to get his nephew out of harm’s way, Renner was struck by the snowplow himself, resulting in blunt chest trauma and 38 broken bones. He was then airlifted to a hospital.
In a conversation with Fox News last year, Renner addressed his terrifying accident, noting that being tested to your limits “changes everything.” Looking at the positive side, he added, “Well, look, there’s so many blessings kind of bestowed onto me because of being tested to your limits. You know when you know, and I guess I got tested to a limit and still got through. So I know what a bad day feels like… I don’t expect to have any of those ever again, you know? So it’s that simple.”
Following the accident, Renner returned to the entertainment business, with him having appeared in Wake Up Dead Man and Mayor of Kingstown Season 4.
