Nolan Funk Will Guest Star in ‘Arrow’ Season 3

Arrow” Season 3 has already loaded up with new heroes including Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) aka The Atom; Ted Grant (J.R. Ramirez) aka Wildcat’ Mark Shaw (David Cubitt) aka Manhunter and Tatsu Yamashiro (Rila Fukushima) aka Katana. For once, there’s a seemingly ordinary person coming to the show this season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nolan Funk will play Cooper Seldon in the fifth episode of “Arrow” Season 3. The episode is entitled “The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak,” and Cooper will be a hacker and Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) boyfriend from her time at MIT.

Funk is best known for his roles on “Glee” and “Awkward,” but he has also appeared in “Warehouse 13,” “Dead Zone,” “Lie to Me” and “Hellcats.”

Charlotte Ross will also appear in the fifth episode as Felicity’s mother. Other confirmed guest stars for “Arrow” Season 3 include Karl Yune and Peter Stormare. Ra’s al Ghul was announced as the season’s primary villain at Comic-Con, but it has not yet been announced who will play the Demon’s Head on “Arrow.”

“Arrow” Season 3 will premiere on Wednesday, October 8 on The CW.
