Peter Shinkoda Joins Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’ Series

Hachiro is coming to “Daredevil.” Now if only we knew who Hachiro was…

Marvel and Netflix have announced that Peter Shinkoda has been signed to the upcoming “Daredevil” series in a recurring role. Shinkoda will portray a new character called Hachiro, who doesn’t appear to have a counterpart character in any of the Daredevil comics. Although the popular theory so far seems to be that Shinkoda’s character may be the show’s version of Stick, Matt Murdock’s mentor.

Sinkoda is best known for co-starring in the first two seasons of “Falling Skies” and he is no stranger to genre projects, with a list of credits that includes “Masked Rider,” “Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers,” “Supernatural,” “Stargate SG-1,” “Dead Zone,” Riverworld, I, Robot, Paycheck and “Mortal Kombat: Legacy.”
