Florence and the Machine Reveal New Music in Odd Video

Florence and the Machine have revealed a finished product in motion on their hotly anticipated new album, following the release of a video on their official Vevo account, titled ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’.

The video sees frontwoman Florence Welch dancing alongside a suited doppelganger, while a brand new track plays in the background. It was revealed yesterday that the band’s much-anticipated third album was played in its entirety for the first time to the band members’ respective friends and families, whilst they attended a private party at Les Trois Garcons restaurant in Shoreditch, London. The band is now being pegged for a performance at this year’s Glastonbury festival.

New songs featured on the as-yet-untitled album include ‘Ship To Wreck’, ‘Caught’, ‘Delilah’ and ‘What Kind Of Man’, with them playing to an audience which included The xx and Jessie Ware. Earlier this year, the operatically gifted Welch confirmed that she was working on a third Florence and The Machine album, the first since 2011’s Ceremonials. We’ll update as more details emerge.
