Listen: Coldplay’s ‘Magic’ is a Promising Taste of ‘Ghost Stories’

Finally, Coldplay seems to be getting interesting. After dropping a Bon Iver sounding new song last week, the official first single from the band’s upcoming new album Ghost Stories (5/19) arrives this week. Have a listen to the surprisingly promising “Magic” below, and revel in the warm bath of relief that Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t singing backup.

The British sigh-rockers have announced that their sixth album will arrive this May. Fans who pre-order Ghost Stories on iTunes will receive an immediate download of the “Magic” track.
