Voodoo 2013 Schedule: A Day By Day Lineup of Must-See Music

With Voodoo 2013 right around the corner, it’s time to start locking down schedules and a plan of action for next weekend’s Voodoo Experience festival in New Orleans! Check out our full-weekend schedule for Voodoofest right here, where you can also make your own.

On Day One we’ll be rushing the gates to catch sets from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis after early sets from A Silent Film, Allen Stone and ZZ Ward. This, of course, is only the warm-up to the first headliner of Voodoo 2013, Pearl Jam. With a new album and a tremendous wave of momentum beneath them in support of its experimental excellence, the band are sure to provide another of their legendary performances to close out Friday night.

On Day Two, we’ll gear up for Nine Inch Nails heading a bill that also includes Paramore, Jack White’s “Love Interruption” sidekick Ruby Amanfu, Cults, L.P. and Delta Rae, with enough breathing room on the schedule to check out some new names and breakthrough acts.

Sunday’s Day Three lineup will put us in front of Robert Delong, Matt & Kim and The Cure. The main stage act just before Robert Smith & friends close out the fest? Kid Rock. Yeah, we’ll go ahead and sidestep what may be the single oddest musical pairing in festival history for a taste of a DJ set spun by Maxim of The Prodigy, before heading to the Le Pleur stage to catch the evolved, dynamic live show from Beats Antique.

There’s a great deal of EDM for festivalgoers to take part in, as well. For those simply a little too young to appreciate The Cure, Bassnectar will be waiting with open arms and all the bass-dropping goodness you could ever want. Not feeling the aggro assault of Nine Inch Nails on Saturday? Afrojack’s got your fix, right across the field. The variety is strong and the good times are guaranteed at Voodoo 2013 – and CraveOnline will be there to bring you the full experience with daily recaps, photo galleries, interviews and more!

Got a can’t-miss recommendation? Is there a band we should be catching that you don’t see on our schedule? Let us know!
