Flying Lotus’ ‘Kuso’ Lands at Shudder

There are two kinds of people in this world. Those that “get” Flying Lotus and those that don’t. If you dig what the enigmatic DJ, producer, artist, filmmaker does than you should check out his full-length feature directorial debut, Kuso.

The bizarre post-apocalyptic, indie horror comedy made headlines at this year’s Sundance not just for its gross-out and hallucinatory imagery, but for the audience walkouts that it caused. Check out the poster below.

Kuso depicts the aftermath of Los Angeles’s worst earthquake nightmare as mutated survivors broadcast their stories on a makeshift network of discarded televisions.

If you want to see what all the buzz and puking is about you will be able to watch Kuso on Shudder as the horror streaming service has announced that the movie will be available on its site beginning July 21st. Check out the new trailer below.

Kuso stars Tim HeideckerHannibal BuressGeorge ClintonAnders Holm and the soundtrack includes contributions from Flying Lotus himself as well as Aphex TwinThundercat, and Kamasi Washington.
